Colorado Women's Sports Fund Association Extravaganza

Women and girls in sports took the spotlight on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins. The Colorado Women's Sports Fund Association held their first Women's Sports Extravanganza to celebrate National Women and Girl's Sports Day.

Twenty scholarships of $500 each from the CWSFA were presented to the winners representing ten different sports.

The annual "CWSFA Outstanding Achievement Award for Dedication to Women's Sports" was presented to Dave and Annette King of Triple Crown Sports, Fort Collins.

 

 

 

The Colorado Women's Sports Fund Association gave a grant of $1000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County, Loveland site.

Ice Skating Club of Fort Collins is an Affiliate Member that drew lots of attention.

 

Affiliate Member Slaughterhouse Derby Girls promote a resurgent sport.

Denver Bronco Cheerleaders appeared and are shown with a member of the Pitchers Softball Club.

Two synchronized swimming teams promoted their sport.
