Colorado Womens Sports Fund Association Grants
The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association will provide grants to non-profit organizations in northern Colorado that promote the participation of females in sporting activities.
The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association will work with groups such as local municipal recreation departments and other similar organizations to identify programs in which the CWSFA can encourage girls to become involved and participate in sports. These programs could include purchase of equipment or payment of fees to participate in clinics, leagues, or other programs as identified by these recreation departments and its partner agencies. The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association will annually designate a certain portion of its revenues to fund these opportunities.
The CWSFA may identify programs in which lack of funding (i.e., for equipment, facilities, team fees, etc.) is a barrier to participation by girls and women. The CWSFA may then elect to designate a portion of revenues to fund these programs as needed.
How to Apply for Grant
Follow the process outlined on our CWSFA Grant Application Form.
Keep in mind your organization must be a non-profit, and the funds must be used to promote participation of females in sporting activities.
