The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association believes that participation in athletics provides girls and women with tremendous psychological, physiological and social benefits including the development of life skills, improved physical health and opportunities for social interaction
The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association seeks to increase the number of girls and women who participate in athletics, reduce and eliminate barriers that prevent participation, and match girls and women of all ages with athletic activities that they enjoy and can experience success.
The Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association is a registered Colorado non-profit organization. The association has been granted Section 501(c) (3) status as a charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
We are a member-based organization with an elected, unpaid, Board of Directors. Voting members participate in an annual meeting and special meetings as called by the Directors. The Board of Directors meets at least once a quarter, or more often as required.
Typically, Board meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at Triple Crown Sports Complex conference room.
Board meetings are open to the public and especially to CWSFA members and affiliates.
