Girls and Women's Sports Fair Extravaganza

I. To celebrate and call public attention to National Girls and Women's Sports Day (NGWSD)
II. To provide a united and inclusive opportunity for all organizations in northern Colorado involving girls and women in sports and the public to participate in the celebration by:
A. Conducting a public sports fair to:
- Permit social interaction and information exchange amongst the participating organizations.
- Foster public awareness of the benefits, individually and communally, to girls and women participating in sports.
- Foster public awareness of those organizations that are providing sports for girls and women and the opportunities for participation.
- Generate public interest in girls and women’s sports
B. Honoring the 2009 Colorado Women’s Sports Fund Association’s
Scholarship winners in a public ceremony
C. Honoring persons in northern Colorado who have demonstrated extra
Ordinary commitment and leadership for girls and women’s sports
D. Serving as a fundraiser for the Colorado Women’s Sports Fund
Association’s Scholarship/Grants program and for participating affiliate
Members.
